Discuss the differences between the three major filling methods of the filling and sealing machine

The filling and sealing machine is suitable for the production and processing of liquid, paste, viscous and other products. It adopts three specific filling methods: normal pressure, negative pressure and pressure, each applicable to different product specifications.

1. Normal Pressure Filling

This method generally elevates the storage tank to increase pressure, and uses the self-weight of the material as the driving force for filling. It is suitable for the production and processing of products with good fluidity and low viscosity, such as milk and red wine.

2. Negative Pressure Filling

This method requires making the pressure inside the container lower than the atmospheric pressure, and then filling the products based on the principle of air pressure balance. Filling and sealing machines of this type are usually simple in structure, yet feature excellent sealing performance between components. They have no strict requirements on material viscosity and can be used for processing syrup, oil, sauce and other products.

3. Pressure Filling

This method is carried out under the condition of pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure. One type is isobaric filling, where the pressure inside the storage tank is equalized with that inside the container, and the liquid material flows into the container by its own weight. The other type is equipped with a booster piston on the top of the storage tank to push the material for filling. Common products filled by this method include beer, champagne, carbonated beverages and other gas-containing drinks.
