Detailed Introduction to the Operating Procedures of the Filling and Sealing Machine

The filling and sealing machine is an integrated packaging device used in the cosmetics, food, chemical and other industries for material filling, boasting a wide range of applications. Next, we will explain the operating procedures of this equipment in detail:

Check that all components are intact, securely fastened, the power supply voltage is normal, and the air circuit is functioning properly.

Check that the sleeve chain, cup holder, cam, switches and color code sensors are intact and firmly fixed.

Check that all mechanical parts are correctly connected and lubricated.

Check the coordination of the tube feeding station, tube pressing station, color alignment station, filling station and sealing station.

Clear tools and other objects around the equipment.

Check that all parts of the feeder unit are intact and securely fastened.

Verify that the control switches are in their original positions, then use the manual handwheel to run the machine and check for any malfunctions.

After confirming that the above checks are all normal, turn on the power supply and air valve, and gently start the machine for a test run. Operate at a low speed first, then gradually increase to the normal operating speed after confirming normal operation.

At the tube feeding station, adjust the speed of the tube feeding motor to match the speed of the electric pull rod with the machine speed, and maintain the automatic tube feeding operation.

The tube pressing station drives the pressing heads to operate synchronously through the up-and-down reciprocating motion of the cam link mechanism, so as to press the hoses into the correct positions.

When reaching the color alignment position, the trolley moves to the color alignment station. Rotate the color alignment cam to activate the proximity switch of the color alignment cam, and make the light beam of the photoelectric switch align with the center of the color code with a distance of 5-10 millimeters (mm).

At the filling station, when the hose is lifted at the color alignment station, the tube detection proximity switch at the top of the tube ejector cone will send a signal via the PLC, which then triggers the solenoid valve to operate. When the distance from the filling nozzle to the end of the hose reaches 20mm, the paste filling and discharging for the main body will be completed.

Adjust the filling volume by first loosening the nut, then tighten the corresponding screw and move the slider of the stroke arm outward to increase the filling volume; otherwise, adjust inward and then lock the nut.

At the tail sealing station, the vertical position of the tail sealing clamps can be adjusted according to the hose specifications, with the gap between the tail sealing clamps set to approximately 0.2mm.

Turn on the power supply and air supply, start the automatic control system, and then the filling and sealing machine will enter automatic operation mode.

It is strictly forbidden for non-maintenance personnel to arbitrarily adjust all set parameters. Incorrect settings may cause the equipment to malfunction, and in severe cases, damage the equipment. If adjustments are required during operation, they must be made when the equipment is stopped.

It is strictly forbidden to adjust the filling and sealing machine while it is in operation.

To stop the machine, press the "Stop" button, then turn off the power switch and air supply switch.

Clean the feeding device and the filling and sealing machine unit.

Record and check the operating status of the equipment and conduct daily maintenance.
