Filling and sealing machines are widely used in our daily life. Their main filling methods include thermal steam filling, vacuum filling and pressure filling, each suitable for different packaged products.

1. Thermal Steam Filling

For this method, the discharge tank is generally elevated to increase pressure. Filling is driven by the gravity of the material itself, which is suitable for producing products with good fluidity and low viscosity such as milk and red wine.

2. Vacuum Filling

This method requires the pressure inside the container to be lower than atmospheric pressure, and then product filling is carried out based on the principle of air pressure balance. Filling and sealing machines of this type are generally simple in structure but feature excellent sealing performance between components. They have no strict requirements on material viscosity and are suitable for producing products such as syrup, oil and sauce.

3. Pressure Filling

This method is implemented under the condition of pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, with two specific forms. One is isobaric filling, where the pressure in the discharge tank is kept similar to that inside the container, and the liquid material is poured into the container by its own gravity. The other is to install a boost piston on the top of the discharge tank to push the material for filling production. Common products filled by this method include beer, champagne and carbonated drinks.
